Q: What to do when 2 programs are running, the block is at the photoelectric sensor but the robot does not execute picking action?

Open Blockly and run the test program below to check whether the photoelectric sensor is working or not. If there are no barriers in front of the photoelectric sensor, the value will be 0; otherwise, the value will be 1.

Note:

If you choose the Interface GP2 in the Blockly module, the sensor should be connected onto the Interface GP2 on the robotic arm correspondingly.

You can use the spin button on the back of photoelectric sensor to adjust its sensing distance. Clockwise spinning means making the distance longer and counter-clockwise spinning means making the distance short. If the data of sensor is always 1 or 0, you can try to solve the problem by slightly spinning it.
