This innovative setup merges advanced robotics with generative AI capabilities, enabling users to engage in dynamic chess matches against AI models powered by Amazon Bedrock.
The setup featured two robotic arms—one for each player—controlled by distinct foundational AI models. The smart chessboard detected moves, which were then processed by the AI, guiding the robotic arms to carry out precise actions. This approach highlighted the integration of physical robotics and generative AI to showcase decision-making and strategic thinking in a real-world gaming environment.
Dobot Empower the Embodied AI Robotics Operation
In the Embodied AI Chess demonstration, Dobot Robotics' CR10A cobots were key to executing the physical moves on the chessboard. The robotic arms, equipped with precise motion control and computer vision, tracked and moved the chess pieces based on real-time decisions from Amazon Bedrock’s AI.
The CR10A cobots translated AI-driven strategies into accurate, fluid movements, allowing the robots to dynamically adjust as the game evolved. This integration of embodied AI demonstrated how Dobot’s cobots can perform complex tasks by combining AI decision-making with precise physical execution, showcasing the future potential of collaborative robotics in real-world applications.
